Sales conditions for the webshops for the European Curling Championships 2015

Tickets to the European Curling Championships 2015 (henceforth ECC) can only be purchased at the webshops at www.eccesbjerg2015teams.dk  and at www.eccesbjerg2015officials.dk (henceforth ECC webshops). It is not permitted to sell or resell tickets at a higher price.

Relationship between the ticket buyer and ECC webshops.

ECC webshops intermediate the exclusive sale of tickets for accommodation and events in connection with the ECC. Pursuant to the ‘Act regarding certain consumer goods’ (‘Lov om visse forbrugeraftaler § 17 stk. 2 jf. § 9 stk. 2 nr. 2a’) the sale of tickets is not subject to the right to return. ECC webshops note that tickets are not replaceable if lost. Please check your ticket for the date and time. ECC webshops take no responsibility for issues arising due to the copying or resale of tickets. ECC webshops only accepts payment via the following payment methods: - Dankort - VISA/Dankort - MasterCard - Visa Electron – JCB – Eurocard – Maestro – MasterCard Debit. Transactions at ECC webshops are fee-free.

No responsibility for errors and omissions

ECC webshops takes no responsibility for errors or omissions in prices and descriptions.

Complaints

Any type of complaint relating to the event must be made directly to the organizer. However, if it there is something that you are dissatisfied with in connection with your purchase of tickets, you can contact Esbjerg Kommune, Events via e-mail kikir@esbjergkommune.dk.

Returns

Pursuant to the ‘Act regarding certain consumer goods’ (‘Lov om visse forbrugeraftaler § 17 stk. 2 jf. § 9 stk. 2 nr. 2a’) the purchase of tickets is not subject to the right to return.

Disclosure of information
Information provided to the ECC webshops is not in any way disclosed or sold to third parties. However, card payment information (card number, expiry date and CVC) is forwarded to Nets, which administers the payment system.

As a registrant at ECC webshops you always have the right to object to registration. You also have the right to object to which information is registered about you. These rights are afforded to you following the Personal Data Act (Persondataloven) and inquiries in connection with these rights should be directed to Esbjerg Kommune, Events, via e-mail kikir@esbjergkommune.dk.

Your personal information

In order for you to enter into an online agreement with ECC webshops you must provide the following personal information: 

•         Name
•         Address
•         E-mail address
•         Telephone number

This information is necessary to be able to contact you. The personal information is registered at ECC webshops, Esbjerg Kommune and is stored for 5 years, and thereafter is deleted. Five years is required by the Accounting Act (bogføringsloven).

When information is collected via our website, we ensure that it always occurs with your explicit consent, so you are informed about exactly which information is collected and why.

The shop responsible for ECC has access to your information, which you registered about yourself. The person responsible for data administration at ECC webshops is Merete Christensen.

Payment information is sent encrypted and is subsequently stored encrypted.

Log statistics

Log statistics are used at ECC webshops and this means that a statistics system is used to collect information, which can give a statistical picture of how many visitors ECC webshops have had, where they come from, where visitors exit the webpage, etc.

At ECC webshops log statistics are used with the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality. Log statistics are used to increase user-friendliness.

Responsibility

Online purchases are also subject to the rules contained in the Danish Marketing Practices Act (markedsføringslov) and the Danish ‘Act regarding certain consumer goods’ (‘lov om visse forbrugeraftaler’)

Cookies

ECC webshops use cookies. A cookie is a term for a relationship – that a user’s behavior on the internet is registered with the user (on the user’s hard drive) and in this way, the website can recognize the user.

No information that can be used to personally identify a user is stored in a cookie, but rather information on the user’s behavior on the website. A cookie is stored on the user’s hard drive together with cached files. A cookie is thus a text file that is sent to your browser from a webserver and is stored on your computer’s hard drive. You can set your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie, or you can choose to disable cookies altogether. The generated cookies can be deleted by the following method: choose ‘functions’ in your browser and click on ‘internet settings.’ Next click the button ‘delete cookies’ and choose OK. Then all registered cookies are deleted from your computer.

Payment

At ECC webshops you can pay with - Dankort - VISA/Dankort - MasterCard - Visa Electron – JCB – Eurocard – Maestro – MasterCard Debit. ScanNet is used, which can automatically detect the type of card you are paying with from the card number and security code. Transactions at ECC webshops are fee-free.

When you complete an online payment with a card, you are always secured against misuse. You have no personal risk in the case that your card could be misused at an online shop which uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) on the webpage where card information is entered in. Therefore, you are actually more secure than in the physical world, where you have a personal risk of 1,200kr. if your card is misused using your pin code.

The data you give in connection with an online purchase that is paid with a card is encrypted (SSL); it is only PBS that can read it. Neither the online shop nor others have the possibility to read the data.

An amount higher than the amount you approved at time of purchase cannot charged.

Delivery

When you have made a reservation and paid in our online shop, you will receive first an order confirmation and later an invoice confirmation via email. This is also your ticket. You must bring the ticket with you when you come to Esbjerg for the ECC.
